Additionally, fracking is considered harmful for multiple reasons, but it certainly is not great for how we consume water either.

There are more floating solar farms than ever, known as “floatovoltaics.” These solar panel-covered rafts are placed in reservoirs and large bodies of water near Northern Virginia and beyond to boost clean power without consuming valuable land. They also minimize evaporation for some bodies of water and enhance ecosystem health by regulating algal growth.
